Mission Lane Login – Payment And Customer Services Overview
Mission Lane Login is a visa and credit card company providing members with various financial services and assistance. However, upon researching more about them, I am still trying to figure out their benefits and how their services differ from other credit card companies.
This is because if you go to their official website, you will find the information vague. The words written need to give a clearer picture of their services. They call themselves a “fintech (financial tech) company” that aims to “revolutionize the availability of financial tools that provide debit and credit services to Americans.”
Their official website must provide details about their visa credit cards (cards that work internationally) and other services. Their fee and payment structure should be mentioned to all members and customers. To get such information, you have to visit them directly or call up their customer services.
And that is exactly what I did. Keep reading to learn what I found out.
Mission Lane Login Overview
After calling up Mission Lane login customer services, I learned about them. First, you do not need any initial deposits to get a Mission Lane Visa Credit card. Additionally, they provide quite a few services to their customers, like fraud liability, along with mobile online banking.
If you make a standard purchase with their credit cards, you must pay an APR (Annual Percentage Rate) of 19.49% to 29.99%. This percentage depends on how many purchases you have made using your credit card.
Additionally, members will also receive several cashback rewards. Depending on your purchases, you are entitled to one of these three cashback rewards – 1%, 1.5%, or 2%. You also have to pay an annual service or usage fee or charge of a maximum of $59.
However, newcomers will only receive extra benefits from getting the Mission lane visa credit card. This is because there are no welcome bonuses for new customers. Therefore, newer members need to be more incentivized to join Mission Lane login.
Additionally, if you make any foreign transactions using this credit card, you must pay 3% of each transaction. However, an interesting point to note here is that you will have to pay this 3% in US Dollars, not in foreign currency.
Mission Lane Credit Card: Is It Any Better?
At first glance, the services provided by Mission Lane are similar to the services offered by other cards. But are they?
To ensure my statement is correct, I compared the services and benefits provided by other cards with a Mission Lane Visa credit card. Here’s how Mission Lane login stacks up to them:
Mission Lane vs. Petal 2 Visa Credit Card
The Petal 2 “No Fees Cashback” Credit Card is among the most famous American Visa credit cards. It’s similar to the Mission Lane login, since it has no preliminary charges and requires no initial deposits to be made.
For each purchase, members will instantly earn a 1% cashback. However, this value will increase to 1.5% after you make monthly payments on time for a total of twelve times.
Select traders partnered with Petal 2 will provide anywhere between 2% to 10% cashback.
However, compared to Mission Lane, they charge 17.49% to 31.49% APR, which is of a lower standard range. Therefore, the Petal 2 Visa credit card is much better than Mission Lane’s.
Mission Lane vs. Discover It Secured Credit Card
Since the Discover It Visa Credit Card is secured, you must spend more on initial security deposits. However, it will benefit you to do so since your account will be upgraded in seven months if you make your payments on time. When your account gets upgraded, you will receive even more benefits.
Additionally, you can get 2% cash back at any gas station or restaurant. You will also get $1,000 off in combined purchases calculated every quarter. Also, you can get 1% cash back on all purchases – forever.
Therefore, the number of benefits and cashback offered by Discover It is substantially better than Mission Lane login cards.
Mission Lane Credit Card vs. Bank of America Credit Card for Students
It’s an excellent idea for students to build up credit while studying. For such purposes, student credit cards like the Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards Credit Card for students is the most popular choice.
With this credit card, you will get 2% cash back on all grocery stores, plus an additional 3% cash back on any product category you choose. You will also get an extra 1% cash back on all purchases.
However, there are certain limits here. Each quarter, your bonus earning is capped at $2,500 for all 2% and 3% cash backs combined.
However, the Welcome Bonus is the best aspect of this card compared to the Mission Lane Login card. Here, you will get a flat $200 cash reward for signing up, compared to nothing provided by Mission Lane. However, there is a catch – you must make purchases worth $1,000 after opening your account within 90 days.
The Bank of America card has a lower APR of 17.74% to 27.74%. This easily makes it better than the Mission Lane login.
Final Verdict: Is The Mission Lane Visa Credit Card Worth It?
Mission Lane login visa credit card is overhyped. There are various better cards out there that provide better benefits at lower APR.
